PIONEERS CUP SEASON 3

The French club becomes the first to add a Cup to League title with a full investment in the competition. Olise and Karim Benzema beat the resilient Hearts of Oak with the winning goals, as the latter lifts the trophy as a successfull team captain.

After a 2nd tier club present in last season's Final, Hearts of Oak repeat the feat after having made their way through the Cup, dismantling the big clubs like Rangers and powerhouse Aston Villa. In an unprecedented turn of events, four 2nd tier clubs reached the Quarter-Finals, and three advanced to the Semi-Finals.
